Abstract As an extended form of intuitionistic fuzzy set, the theory interval-valued set (IVIFS) can describe fuzziness more flexibly. This study aims to develop a group decision-making model based on distance measure, Yager power aggregation operators and possibility measure in context IVIFSs. For this purpose, new is proposed quantify dissimilarity between two In addition, comparison with existing measures performed illustrate efficiency introduced measure. Combining Yager’s triangular norms distance-based operators, series (IVIF) are their desirable properties. Moreover, developed for pairwise comparisons IVIFSs, which overcomes shortcomings IVIF-score function, IVIF-accuracy IVIF-possibility measures. The further utilized compute weights criteria. To prove practicality effectiveness model, it applied case manufacturing plant location selection problem IVIF information. Finally, sensitivity comparative analyses carried out test stability robustness method under setting

Prefabricated buildings have a series of advantages such as high efficiency, energy savings, and environmental protection, are being strongly promoted by the Chinese government. However, due to late start prefabricated in China, installation process components is relatively complex, leading difficulties quality safety control. A novel evaluation methodology integrating technique for order preference similarity ideal solution (TOPSIS) with prospect theory interval-valued Pythagorean fuzzy numbers (IVPFNs) proposed. Fully considering subjective value perceptions decision-makers when faced losses gains, risk model established based on different types decision-makers. This then compared weight correction coefficient from balanced perspective prevent bias caused over-reliance decision-makers' preferences. study establishes an assessment index system assembly construction risk, personnel, materials, machinery, management, technology factors. By merging TOPSIS method, application refined, enhancing group decision-making evaluating risks projects. On other hand, approach can focus actual psychological state managers during decision-making, addressing research gap concerning impact managers' states process. The identifies critical factors suggests specific management strategies improve mitigation capabilities entities, offering structured efficiency
