Oxide-based nanoparticles have been studied extensively due to their unique optical and passivation properties, which are significantly distinct from those of bulk materials. The present study aimed synthesize copper oxide through the co-precipitation method. adequate substitution sodium hydroxide (NaOH) into CuO is analyzed by different characterizations, i.e., X-ray diffraction (XRD), Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM), UV–visible spectroscopy (UV–visible), Fourier transform infrared (FTIR), EDX. spectra indicate that prepared were crystalline, nano-sized, highly pure. SEM micrographs showed spherical at lower contents NaOH, while higher contents, agglomeration occurs, grain size changes. decreased bandgap was observed concentrations hydroxide. crystalline strain values also determined Williamson-Hall compressive micro-stain in materials confirms negative slope value line fit W–H Plot. From this study, we concluded synthesized NPs potential combine with antireflecting films for improved performance optoelectronic devices, precisely current density properties.
