The gut microbiome is known as the tenth system of human body that plays a vital role in intersection between health and disease. considerable inter-individual variability microbiota poses both challenges great prospects promoting precision medicine cardiovascular diseases (CVDs). In this review, based on development, evolution, influencing factors full life circle, we summarized recent advances characteristic alteration CVDs throughout different stages, depicted their pathological links mechanism, well highlight achievements targeting prevention, diagnosis treatment. Personalized strategies could be tailored according to characteristics including microbiota-blood metabolites combined prediction diagnosis, dietary interventions, lifestyle improvements, probiotic or prebiotic supplements. However, fulfill promise lifelong health, more mechanism studies should progress from correlation causality decipher novel mechanisms linking specific microbes CVDs. It also promising use burgeoning artificial intelligence machine learning target for developing screening new therapeutic interventions.

This review delves into the role of Dickkopf-3 (DKK3), a secreted glycoprotein and member Dickkopf family, in non-malignant diseases. DKK3 is particularly known for its regulatory effects on Wnt signaling pathway, critical mediator various biological processes including cell proliferation, differentiation, migration. Our highlights DKK3’s influence disorders cardiovascular, respiratory, renal, muscular systems, where it contributes to disease progression by modulating these key processes. As an emerging biomarker, levels have been found correlate with states, underscoring potential diagnostic therapeutic implications.

Heart failure with preserved left ventricular ejection fraction (HFpEF) is a disease that affects multiple organs throughout the body, accounting for over 50% of heart cases. HFpEF has significant impact on individuals’ life expectancy and quality life, but exact pathogenesis remains unclear. Emerging evidence implicates low-grade systemic inflammation as crucial role in onset progression HFpEF. Gut microbiota dysregulation associated metabolites alteration, including short-chain fatty acids, trimethylamine N-oxides, amino bile acids can exacerbate chronic inflammatory responses potentially contribute to In light these findings, we propose hypothesis “gut microbiota-inflammation-HFpEF axis”, positing interplay within this axis could be factor development This review focuses gut dysregulation-induced HFpEF’s etiology. It explores potential mechanisms linking cardiac dysfunction evaluates therapeutic restoring balance mitigating severity. The objective offer novel insights strategies management

Heart failure poses a significant health concern globally, and despite advancements in treatment, the search for additional, supportive therapeutic options remains crucial. This systematic review meta-analysis studied impact of probiotics polyphenols on heart biomarkers, focusing potential improvements function inflammation. We analyzed studies published Embase, PubMed Cochrane library from 2012 to 2024, randomized controlled trials. Our findings are drawn 5 probiotics, involving 401 participants, 3 with total 140 participants. The analysis included assessments LVEF, hs-CRP, creatinine NT-proBNP levels intervention control groups. or did not demonstrate changes indicators patients compared placebo. suggested that while concept dietary management is promising, further research necessary validate efficacy as supplementary therapies care, by analyzing more diverse outcomes patient populations.
