This paper diagnoses the determination of Covid-19 on economic and social aspects in Indonesia. Panel data collected from 34 provinces Indonesia for 2020-2023 period supports quantitative method. La covid-19, en cuanto evento que interrumpió las actividades económicas el mundo, afectó agendas de políticas gubernamentales. En Latinoamérica, la mayor parte respuestas fueron centralizadas por los Gobiernos nacionales, sin embargo, México, 32 entidades federativas desarrollaron propias frente a pandemia. El caso mexicano nos permite analizar recientes hipótesis estudios comparados sobre esta temática cuyas propuestas se plantea tamaño población y escala estructura socioeconómica administraciones pueden ser factores explican alcance diversidad locales.
