ABSTRACT China's rapid industrialization and economic development have significantly contributed to rising CO 2 emissions, posing a direct challenge sustainable objectives. This study investigates the relationship between aquaculture production, renewable energy consumption, intensity, emissions in China, with particular focus on role of production consumption shaping emission patterns. Employing Method Moments Quantile Regression (MMQREG) Bootstrap (BSQREG) approaches, analysis explores nonlinear dynamics across various quantiles emissions. The findings reveal that intensity exert varying effects different levels, most pronounced impact observed lower quantiles. underscores necessity considering regional sectoral disparities when formulating mitigation policies. It highlights importance ongoing transition toward energy, enhanced efficiency, region‐specific policy interventions, particularly high‐emission areas. These insights contribute discourse emerging economies, offering practical implications for policymakers avenues future research, variations determinants
