Recently, the precise location of sensor nodes has emerged as a significant challenge in realm Internet Things (IoT) applications, including Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs). The accurate determination geographical coordinates for detected events holds pivotal importance these applications. Despite DV-Hop gaining popularity due to its cost-effectiveness, feasibility, and lack additional hardware requirements, it remains hindered by relatively notable localization error. To overcome this limitation, our study introduces three new approaches that combine with Chicken Swarm Optimization (CSO). primary objective is improve precision DV-Hop-based approaches. In paper, we compare efficiency proposed algorithms other existing approaches, several based on Particle (PSO), while considering random network topologies. simulation results validate algorithms. HW-DV-HopCSO algorithm achieves considerable improvement positioning accuracy compared those models.
