Abstract BACKGROUND Sodium alginate (SA)/carbon nitride (g‐C 3 N 4 ) composite beads loaded with silver (Ag) and iron (Fe) bimetallic nanoparticles (Ag 0 –Fe /g‐C /SA) introduce a new approach in wastewater treatment. Ag synergy is utilized to enhance reduction efficiency ensure sustainable water purification. Composite of g‐C /SA were prepared then introduced solution Fe reduced their zero valent state (M by treating it sodium borohydride (NaBH ). was further used for the catalytic harmful compounds from water. RESULTS X‐ray diffraction analyze chemically synthesized beads. The high intensity peaks confirmed that amount higher than Fe. Scanning electron microscopy showed shape be rough granular. Atomic absorption spectroscopy exhibited adsorption capacity ions as compared ions. Fourier transform infrared presence OH, CN, CO, CH functional groups sample. Catalytic Erichrome Black T (EBT), Methyl Orange (MO), Rhodamine B (Rh‐B), Reactive 5 (RB‐5) carried out using catalysts. Various parameters such apparent rate constant ( k app ), concentration, percentage reduction, time, half‐life also studied activity both CONCLUSION Overall, highest 73%, 93%, 94%, 92% EBT, MO, Rh‐B, RB‐5, respectively, effectively © 2025 Society Chemical Industry (SCI).
