Actinomycetes associated with plants are relatively interactive sources of potential natural products. Two culturable endophytic actinomycetes strains, GcL-T1-1 and GcLT2-2, were isolated from a leaf cowa (Garcinia Roxb.). Determination morphological physiological properties, strains formed filament cells presented spores on the mycelia which classified to actinomycete group. In addition, strain belonged Streptomyces based chemotaxonomic characteristics, contained LL- diaminopimelic acid in peptidoglycan cell wall. The molecular identification using similarity value 16S rRNA gene, non-streptomycete GcL-T2-2 was within family Micromonosporaceae, genus Micromonospora that highest M. schwarzwaldensis HKI0641T (99.93%), follow haikouensis 232617T (99.23%), humi DSM 45647T (99.16%), maritima D10-9-5T sediminicola 45794T oryzae CP2R9-1T (99.16%) mangrove 2803GPT1-18T (99.16%). neighbour-joining phylogeny confirmed phyletic line Micromonospora. Biological screening for antimicrobial cytotoxic activities, ethyl acetate crude extract sp. exhibited activity against Bacillus cereus NCI-H187 tumor at MIC 50 µg/mL IC50 48.12 µg/mL, respectively. Organic fertilizers, such as spent mushroom substrate (SMS), improve soil fertility, but studies comparing their effects on different agricultural soils are limited. In this study, the of standard, SMS and composed fertilizers from conventional-integrated, organic biodynamic farming were investigated. Soil samples analyzed for microorganisms activity β-glucosidase (β-GLU), β-1,4-N-acetylglucosaminidase (NAG), urease (URE), arylamidase (ARN), phosphatase (PHOS), acid (PAC), alkaline (PAH) arylsulphatase (ARS). Biodynamic showed highest microbial counts enzyme activities, followed by conventional soils. significantly increased number especially in Seasonal variations affected all most enzymes soils, except NAG stable throughout year, indicating greater stability. This study concludes that activities respond differently to fertilization depending type, with demonstrating beneficial tested

To investigate the biocatalytic potential of Amazonian actinomycetes for monoterpenes biotransformation. carry out present study, eleven genus Streptomyces isolated from inga-cipó (Inga edulis Mart.) rhizospheres were tested their ability to bioconvert substrates R-(+)-limonene, S-(-)-limonene, 1S-(-)-α-pinene, and (-)–β–pinene as sole carbon energy source. According gas chromatography-mass spectrometry analysis, three strains, LabMicra B270, LaBMicrA B310, B314, able biotransform 1S-(-)-α-pinene after 96 h growth. However, B270 was most promising since it converted only 72 all mainly into cis-verbenol (74.9±1.24%) verbenone (18.2±1.20%), compounds that have important biological activities great industrial interest additives in foods cosmetics. These findings can stimulate development natural aromas using naturally abundant monoterpenes, ratify microorganisms almost unexplored niches such rhizosphere, reinforce importance preserving those niches.
