Investigating the connection with nature is essential for understanding how young people perceive and engage their environment. This systematic review aimed to assess psychological social science literature on in adolescents adults, objective of exploring this might impact development. Following PRISMA guidelines, a comprehensive search across multiple databases identified 352 articles total, 38 meeting inclusion criteria. Each article was evaluated characteristics such as population type, study design, aims, key findings. Thematic analysis revealed three areas: pro-environmental behavior, sustainability nature, role technology, gender differences nature. The findings suggest that fostering may be powerful strategy enhancing youth well-being, while also supporting integration diverse evolving urban settings.

Marine plankton include organisms driving multiple ecosystem services (ESs). In this study, we identified ESs provided by planktonic consortia worldwide from the analysis of scientific literature. We also mapped onto forty-nine trophic networks derived presence–absence data obtained two coastal surveys in three areas along coast Campania region Tyrrhenian Sea (NW Mediterranean). The systematic review evidenced that associated with goods provision and regulation were most studied categories, while cultural least considered. mapping across revealed significant spatiotemporal variations plankton-based ESs, which depend on seasonal variability local environmental conditions. Among those connected maintenance marine ecosystems dominated both temporally spatially, highlighting crucial role stability resilience. Moreover, although direct materials was less represented, food to higher levels widespread within each sector, biodiversity directly sustaining whole related economic activities such as fisheries aquacultures.

Introduction Rapid urbanization has increasingly restricted children’s access to natural environments, raising concerns about potential consequences for their physical, mental, and social well-being. Urban green blue spaces are known offer significant health benefits, including physical activity promotion, psychological restoration, development. Methods This study conducted a comprehensive bibliometric analysis examine the relationship between urban green/blue health. A total of 575 relevant publications from 1981 2024 were retrieved Web Science database. CiteSpace VOSviewer used keyword co-occurrence analysis, co-citation mapping, burst detection visualize research trends thematic evolution. Results Three major phases identified: (1) early focus on outcomes, (2) shift toward environmental contexts, (3) emerging emphasis sustainability, quality, walkability. While have been extensively studied, remain underrepresented, especially in terms synergistic benefits when combined with spaces. Key themes include mental impacts, skills development, educational functions nature exposure. Discussion reveals interdisciplinary collaborative current emphasizes importance ensuring equitable high-quality environments areas. The findings practical implications planners policymakers establish foundation promoting sustainable development that supports

Cultural Ecosystem Services (CESs), as non-material benefits and well-being provided by ecosystems to humans, possess the ability bridge nature human society interpret their complex interrelationships. Coastal areas are regions with concentrated activities, where coastal zones often subject development, pollution, degradation. Compared other ecosystems, face greater pressures threats, cultural services they provide more vulnerable. Research on ecosystem needs consider vulnerability find ways protect restore functions. Therefore, this paper explores intrinsic logical system feasibility of guiding natural resource management enhancing through CESs, discussing related research data acquisition, method analysis, perceptual application. Based this, analyzes development trends CESs in from aspects such biodiversity, human–nature interaction processes, heritage conservation, local economic community management. Finally, it proposes advancing in-depth perspectives integrating multi-source data, interdisciplinary incorporating into policy making, providing theoretical support for systematic study rational utilization sustainable development.
