In this study, we describe the development of hydrogel formulations composed micelles loading two natural antioxidants—resveratrol and rutin—and evaluation effect a by-product on rheological textural properties developed semi-solids. This approach aims to associate advantages hydrogels for topical administration drugs lipid that mimic skin composition delivery poorly water-soluble compounds in combination therapy. Biomimetic L-α-phosphatidylcholine loaded with distinct polyphenols (one non-flavonoid one flavonoid) were produced using hot shear homogenisation followed by ultrasonication method. All dispersed carbomer 940-based obtain three semi-solid formulations, which then characterised analysing thermal, properties. Olive pomace-based also contain same as an alternative respond needs zero waste circular economy. The thermograms showed no changes typical profiles when into hydrogels. analysis confirmed achieved ideal product administration. viscosity values olive pomace (hydrogels A) proved be lower than without B), ingredient having considerable reducing final formulation, yet compromising firmness cohesiveness gels. texture both A B exhibited behaviour expected system.
