Sugarcane-based products are inherently rich in elements such as silicon, carbon and nitrogen. As such, these become ideal precursors for utilization a wide array of application fields. One the appealing areas is to transform them into nanomaterials high interest that can be employed several prominent applications. Among nanomaterials, sugarcane based on silica nanoparticles (SNPs), dots (CDs), metal/metal oxide-based NPs, nanocellulose, cellulose nanofibers (CNFs), nano biochar becoming increasingly reported. Through manipulation experimental conditions choosing suitable starting elements, it possible devise with highly desired properties suited specific The current review presents findings from recent literature wherein an effort has been made convey new development field sugarcane-based synthesis above-mentioned nanomaterials. Various were systematically discussed terms their perspectives. Wherever possible, comparative analysis was carried out highlight potential intended purpose compared other biomass-based materials. This expected stand delivering up-to-date survey provide readers necessary directions future research.
