Background: Cannabis sativa (CS) has been traditionally used for its medicinal properties, including antioxidant, antibacterial, and neuroprotective effects. However, potential anticataleptic activity remains unexplored. Aim: This study aimed to investigate the qualitative phytochemical analysis, of methanolic seed extract (CSCME). Methods: The antioxidant CSCME was evaluated using DPPH radical scavenging assay. Antibacterial properties were assessed agar well diffusion method. For study, Wistar albino rats (n=30) divided into five groups: control, disease control (haloperidol 1mg/kg), standard treatment 1mg/kg + trihexyphenidyl two groups receiving haloperidol with (10mg/kg 20mg/kg). Treatments administered daily 15 days, catalepsy severity block metal bar methods. Results: exhibited significant antibacterial comparable commercial drugs. In vivo, results showed a reduction in cataleptic scores (P<0.05) compared control. Notably, 20mg/kg group demonstrated similar reductions as (P>0.05). Conclusion: demonstrates that possesses activities, suggesting therapeutic agent managing other neurological disorders. findings warrant further investigation clinical applications CSCME.

This work investigates the structural, photocatalytic, and biological properties of Juglans regia leaves extract mediated chitosan-modified TiO2 nanoparticles (NPs) NPs. The structural morphological analysis conducted using X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, transmission FTIR revealed that synthesizing NPs both chitosan results in lower particle size less agglomeration comparison to synthesized only extract. photocatalytic activity for degradation Rhodamine B phytomediated has a remarkable efficacy 95.07% when subjected UV-visible light. Further, have ability reduce E2 estrogen levels which inhibits growth breast cancer cells (MCF-7) was confirmed by yeast based XenoScreen XL YES assay, [3H] thymidine incorporation, apoptosis gene expression (Casp 3 Casp 9) analysis.
