Currently, several organic dyes found in wastewater cause severe contamination problems for flora, fauna, and people direct contact with them. This research proposes an alternative the degradation of polluting using ZnO nanoparticles (NPs) synthesized by ecological route leaf root extracts Ambrosia ambrosioides as a reducing agent (with weight/volume ratio = 4%). Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) was used to determine morphology, showing agglomeration cluster-shaped NPs. Using Transmission (TEM), different sizes NPs ranging from 5 56 nm were observed both The composition structure nanomaterial analyzed infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR) X-ray diffraction (XRD), result that have wurtzite-like crystalline crystallite around 32–37 samples. Additionally, bandgap calculated Ultraviolet Visible Spectroscopy (UV–Vis), determining values 2.82 2.70 eV root, respectively. Finally, thermogravimetric analysis demonstrated contained part after green synthesis process, high thermal stability Photocatalytic showed these nanomaterials can degrade four under UV irradiation, reaching 90% methylene blue (MB), methyl orange (MO) Congo red (CR) at 60, 100 60 min, respectively, while (MR) almost achieved 140 min irradiation. These results demonstrate it is effective use formation NPs, also evidencing their favorable application photocatalytic dyes.
