Photocatalytic Degradation of Four Organic Dyes Present in Water Using ZnO Nanoparticles Synthesized with Green Synthesis Using Ambrosia ambrosioides Leaf and Root Extract

Currently,
several
organic
dyes
found
in
wastewater
cause
severe
contamination
problems
for
flora,
fauna,
and
people
direct
contact
with
them.
This
research
proposes
an
alternative
the
degradation
of
polluting
using
ZnO
nanoparticles
(NPs)
synthesized
by
ecological
route
leaf
root
extracts
Ambrosia
ambrosioides
as
a
reducing
agent
(with
weight/volume
ratio
=
4%).
Scanning
Electron
Microscopy
(SEM)
was
used
to
determine
morphology,
showing
agglomeration
cluster-shaped
NPs.
Using
Transmission
(TEM),
different
sizes
NPs
ranging
from

nm
were
observed

These
results
demonstrate
it
is
effective
use
formation
NPs,
also
evidencing
their
favorable
application
photocatalytic
dyes.
