With the depletion of non-renewable resources, renewable energy sources like solar and hydrogen will play an important role in future. Efficient stable utilization these has become a primary focus research. Low-dimensional semiconductor nanomaterials, including quantum dots, nanowires, thin films, exhibit unique properties due to their size being close or smaller than certain characteristic lengths material.
