In nature, there are some seeds that can’t germinate properly, even if environmental conditions favourable. This condition is known as seed dormancy. the case of _Prosopis cineraria_ (L.) Druce, common reason for dormancy toughness coat. type physical (PY). experiment conducted to determine efficiency different priming methods on germination Shami plant. The include hydropriming followed by mechanical scarification, lukewarm water, hot and sulphuric acid treatments. Five selected each treatment carry out germination. Then data percentage collected one week after planting (WAP). this study, scarification showed highest observed percentage. However, given small sample size, further validation required. It interesting reveal under full exposure sunlight, leaflets remain closed in juvenile adaptation may be ascribed resisting water loss
