Abstract Cereals are the most cultivated and traded crops for food, feed, industrial uses worldwide. Among other producing regions, Africa hosts 27% of world's total cereal production. Like staple crops, production cereals such as maize, rice, wheat, millet sorghum in Sub-Saharan is threatened by herbivorous pests weeds leading to significant losses.
