Abstract A series of addition‐type liquid silicone rubbers (LSRs) with varying compositions was prepared by incorporating phenylethyl/H‐containing polyhedral oligomeric silsesquioxane (Ph/H‐POSS) as both a reinforcing filler and crosslinking agent. The effects Ph/H‐POSS content on the morphology, thermal stability, mechanical properties, optical performance LSRs were systematically investigated. results indicated that thermomechanical properties are significantly influenced amount incorporated. Specifically, introducing an appropriate enhanced density LSRs. steric hindrance caused POSS structure phenyl groups inhibited migration polysiloxane chains, leading to improved properties. When reached 6 wt%, T 5% max increased 72.8 11.5 °C, respectively, compared POSS‐free LSR (LSR‐0), residue at 800 °C also increased. Notably, when 15 elongation break up 78.38%, pure sample. Moreover, exhibits excellent compatibility matrix, ensuring good dispersion within system minimal impact UV transmittance remains above 92%, refractive index can be adjusted content. This innovative approach preparation provides promising method for developing highly elastic, transparent tunable making them suitable applications such electronic device encapsulation lenses.
