In this study, a rapid, effective method based on QuEChERS was optimised and validated for determination of perfluorooctanoic acid (PFOA) perfluorooctane sulphonic (PFOS) in edible vegetable oils by high-performance liquid chromatography coupled with tandem mass spectrometry (HPLC-MS/MS). Samples were simply vortex extracted methanol containing 1% ammonia solution purified through C18, PSA GCB, followed HPLC-MS/MS. The detection parameters, including the mobile phase composition, chromatographic column, as well sample preparation conditions, such choice extraction solvents dosage GCB cleanup agents optimised. quantification target compounds carried out using stable isotope internal standards to compensate any matrix effect during electrospray ionisation process spectrometry. developed has demonstrated commendable accuracy, recovery percentages ranging from 93.76% 108.96%, exhibits excellent precision, indicated relative standard deviation not exceeding 20%. Furthermore, been its selectivity, linearity response, sensitivity. proposed is beneficial gathering residue data PFOA PFOS, allowing evaluation their contamination levels available Chinese market providing scientific backing regulatory supervision.
