Coffee is one of the most widely consumed beverages worldwide. This has motivated coffee industry to adopt sustainable practices, with an increased emphasis on environmentally friendly extraction methods. The objective this study was explore, through a bibliometric analysis, identification influential researchers, institutions, emerging topics, and gaps concerning valorization by-products residues using green techniques. A total 7306 scientific publications were identified, 72 specifically addressing or its by-products. analysis highlights focus innovative technologies, such as natural deep eutectic solvents, ultrasound-assisted microwave-assisted extraction. These methods enable efficient bioactive compounds, including polyphenols, chlorogenic acid, caffeine, potential applications in food, pharmaceutical, energy industries. Despite this, research remains limited, partly due their use other applications, biochar, animal feed, construction materials, which do not rely heavily technologies. Key contributors field include countries Spain, Italy, Brazil, China. emphasizes waste generate high-value products methodologies, identifies noteworthy key actors field, underscores necessity for further innovation collaboration.
