This paper presents the research results on some characteristics of metal-organic framework material MIL-101(Cr) and its ability to remove nitrate from aqueous environments based photocatalytic reactions. was synthesized using hydrothermal method in laboratory. Techniques such as FE-SEM, XRD, FT-IR, BET were employed, demonstrating that porous structure is highly developed, with a specific surface area up 3017 m²/g characteristic octahedral crystal size ranging approximately 100 300 nm. Experimental show under UV light conditions at wavelength 365 nm power 250 W, MOF can catalyze removal light, achieving maximum efficiency 99% after 180 minutes reaction. The MIL-101 significantly improved, reaches nearly 100% within reaction time 40 when formic acid (HCOOH 46 mM) used hole scavenger.
