Microgrids (MGs) have gained significant attention over the past two decades due to their advantages in service reliability, easy integration of renewable energy sources, high efficiency, and enhanced power quality. In India, low-voltage side customers face challenges terms supply continuity voltage regulation. This paper presents a novel approach for optimal scheduling microgrid, aiming provide uninterrupted with improved regulation (VR). To address these challenges, crow search algorithm is developed effective load within distribution system. The proposed method minimizes total operating cost (TOC) maximizes VR under varying loading conditions distributed generation (DG) configurations. A case study Tamil Nadu, conducted using microgrid composed three sources (DGs), modeled simulated Electrical Transient Analyzer Program (ETAP) environment. tested operational scenarios: grid-connected mode, islanded mode one DG outage. Results indicate that significantly optimizes scheduling, leading substantial reduction loss enhancement profiles across all scenarios. operation demonstrates remarkable TOC compared other modes. main contributions this work include: (1) developing new meta-heuristic microgrids algorithm, (2) achieving flow minimize improve VR, (3) successfully implementing methodology real-time system ETAP. findings showcase effectiveness management its potential application systems.
