Objective Asynchronous consultations in telehealth provide the convenience of not requiring an appointment. However, some patients may choose to visit a medical facility instead waiting for response, and time delay could negatively affect user satisfaction. This study investigated relationship between response both hospital visits prior confirmation, as well satisfaction with service asynchronous consultations. Methods We collected data from consulting Japan (Sanfujin-ka Online) July 2021 June 2023, including consultation content, times, post-consultation questionnaires. The primary outcome was before secondary service. A chi-square test multivariable logistic regression analysis were performed assess these outcomes. Results included 7394 online consultations, 99.8% responses provided within 24 h. revealed no significant association after adjusting age content. Furthermore, difference found intention reuse After using service, there contacts users or institutions related unexpected sudden changes serious illnesses.
