Abstract
Objective:
To
investigate
changes
in
life-space
mobility
and
its
relationship
to
health
functioning
determinants
on
older
Brazilian
adults.
Methods:
We
conducted
an
online
phone
survey
using
adapted
Life-Space
Assessment
version.
Linear
regression
models
were
used
patterns
of
LS
during
the
pandemic
decline
according
cultural
(gender
age
groups),
conditions
(multimorbidity
pain),
functional
capacity
(activities
daily
living
limitation),
physical
activity
(walking)
among
community-dwelling
Results:
Regardless
gender,
functioning,
clinical
health,
participants
experienced
significantly
declines
since
COVID-19
pandemic.
Life-space
reduction
was
higher
people
who
had
lower
levels
walking,
aged
80
more
years,
women,
two
or
multimorbidities
limited
functioning.
Conclusion:
Social
restriction
measures
decrease
adults’
Brazil.
