This study analyzes the impact that economic, political, and social globalization has had on carbon dioxide emissions in BRICS countries from 1991 to 2022. An empirical analysis been performed by using panel ordinary least squares, fixed effects, fully modified dynamic quantile regression methods. The findings show both coal-based energy production economic expansion are major contributors countries. research substantiates there is an inverted U-shaped relationship between per capita income these countries, which validates environmental Kuznets curve (EKC) hypothesis. Also, development seen be significant raising at lower quantiles, their significance falls higher thus reinforcing EKC hypothesis BRICS. results a strong influence of political as well emissions, whereas insignificant impact. indicate differed across distribution with effect middle quantiles quantiles; this consistent theory. type disaggregate indicates deeper regional cooperation empowerment global institutions can depress emissions.
