Introduction Depression constitutes one of our largest global health concerns and current treatment strategies lack convincing evidence effectiveness in youth. We suggest that this is partly due to inherent limitations the present diagnostic paradigm may group fundamentally different conditions together without sufficient consideration etiology, developmental aspects, or context. Alternatives complement system are available yet understudied. The Power Threat Meaning Framework (PTMF) option, developed for explanatory practical purposes. Help-seeking is intrinsic to efforts manage the onset, maintenance, or escalation of mental health difficulties during adolescence. However, our understanding adolescent help-seeking remains somewhat nebulous. A greater comprehension behavior from perspective adolescents needed. It also prudent explore in context perceived cause for emotional distress, particularly as causal beliefs have been found influence adults.The present study sought categorize adolescents' experiences help-seeking, and examine extent which these categories (or "types") are associated with their perceptions factors distress.The data this were drawn interviews conducted part HeadStart Learning Programme. The sample comprised 32 young people aged 11-12 years. Ideal-type analysis, a qualitative form person-centered was used construct typology help-seeking. Abstract The literature to date has documented the presence of challenges and barriers in mental health systems services for children adolescents worldwide. Abstract Background Depression is common and increasing in young people, who seem especially vulnerable, both the probability of developing depression, resulting negative consequences across lifespan. Unfortunately, available treatments rarely lead to full remission even cases relapse rates are high. Different explanatory models have been proposed, research indicates a multifaceted etiology. The descriptive DSM-5 has low diagnostic validity this age-group, for depressive disorders, limited attention given people’s own experiences becoming depressed. Hence, there risk missing clinical information that important therapeutic alliance treatment. Objective This study aimed explore Method A qualitative was performed. Six participants with currently treatment at child adolescent psychiatric outpatient clinics northern Sweden were recruited.
