Purpose Despite India achieving many milestones under MGNREGA, the external and internal shocks result in below potential outcomes employment demand generation. This study examines how these matter migration-prone regions perform. Design/methodology/approach study, employing district-level data from 2018 to 2021, investigates climate change COVID-19 have affected supply. We applied RE-GLS IV-2SLS regressions examine effects of on generation, respectively. The difference panel model is employed test spatial pandemic. Further, we used extended regression interacting with migration affect unemployment rates. Findings It was found that pandemic increased reflects adverse swift action by government. However, responses were possibly different during shocks. wage differential demand. decreased due poor support staff. generation higher districts, indicating seasonal migration, being a lean-season phenomenon, continues occur despite Originality/value contributes literature several ways. captures variations while examining impact COVID-19. performance MGNREGA areas. In effect, findings provide policymakers greater insight into issues. Peer review peer history for this article available at: https://publons.com/publon/10.1108/IJSE-02-2024-0132 .

We have developed an innovative thin-film nanocomposite membrane that contains cellulose acetate (CA) with small amounts of TiO2-decorated graphene oxide (GO) (ranging from 0.5 wt.% to 2 wt.%) sandwiched between two polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE)-like thin films. The PTFE-like films succeeded in maintaining the bulk porosity support while increasing thermal and chemical robustness boosting catalytic activity TiO2 nanoparticles. membranes exhibited a specific composition bonding, predominant carbon–oxygen bonds CA GO bulk, carbon–fluorine on their coated sides. also tested membranes’ photocatalytic activities azithromycin-containing wastewaters, demonstrating excellent efficiency more than 80% degradation for CA-GO-TiO2/PTFE-like membranes. azithromycin formulation occurs steps, reaction rates being correlated amount GO-TiO2
