This study delved into the intricate interplay between social media addiction and various dimensions of adolescent issues, encompassing family, academic, personal, domains. Categorizing participants three groups based on their status, we employed SMAS-SF scale used Mann-Whitney U test to explore disparities in issues across these groups. (1) Background: Digital addiction has been a global concern, with college students becoming increasingly vulnerable to it. The detrimental psycho-physiological effects of digital have raised concerns regarding students’ health. This descriptive correlational study was conducted evaluate the prevalence and identify influencing factors among students, such as body shape satisfaction, time management, psychological (2) Methods: Data were collected from 199 at university in Seoul, South Korea, 30 May 13 June 2023. Addiction Scale (DAS), Time Structure Questionnaire (TSQ), General Health (GHQ), Body Shape (BSQ) used for assessment. (N = 199) analyzed using statistics, one-way ANOVA, Pearson’s correlation coefficient, stepwise multiple regression. (3) Results: mean score 54 ± 12, scores ranging 23.0 89.0. had significant positive satisfaction (r 0.156, p 0.028) negative management −0.500, < 0.001). In regression model (adjusted R2 0.285, 0.001), subfactors (fear fatness β −0.280, dissatisfaction 0.401) (effective organization −0.211, persistence −0.209, past orientation −0.165) statistically significant. (4) Conclusions: are important students. However, it does not establish direct causal relationship. findings indicate that there is statistical association or connection between these factors, but they do definitively state directly cause addiction. Individuals may occasionally experience psychological distress and entrapment, which is not a desirable situation. Psychological defined as state of emotional suffering characterized by symptoms depression anxiety, whereas entrapment negative feelings caused an unsuccessful struggle the belief that defeating situation cannot be resolved or escaped. Currently, rapid developments have brought along with them fear missing out on these developments. In order to minimize undesirable situations in human life, this study aims test mediating role FoMO mental well-being between entrapment. To evaluate related variables, Entrapment Scale, Fear Missing Out Mental Well-Being Kessler Distress Scale were used.
