In this paper, the hydrodynamic characteristics of a hyperbolic cylinder under periodic pulsating flow are studied. The non-uniform turbulent is formed by periodically oscillating wing structure placed upstream cylinder. influence different oscillation velocities and amplitudes horizontal distance between on downstream studied, results indicate that mainly determined leading-edge vortices trailing-edge vortex shedding itself. Further, has an obvious owing to difference in diffusion range vortex. Also, lead attachment cylinder, which indicates positive or negative drag coefficient. Moreover, critical value amplitude exists for each velocity value, so subjected minimum force incoming flow.

Dynamic response, fatigue, and stability issues of a structure are closely related to flow behavior past bluff body structure. Flow the free-end rectangular prism is investigated numerically using Large Eddy Simulation (LES) turbulence model at Re = 22000. The has constant depth (D) width (H) ratio D/H 0.5 for span length variation L (= 10; 7,5; 5,0 2,5H). Effects free end on characteristics showed that pattern, velocity vector, fluid forces component changed. presence closed alteration in wake, which presented graphically this paper. This study suggests critical aspect slender 2,5<L/H<5,0 with 2,5H an unusual among test models. dynamic response affects pattern indicated by region intensity vorticity, hydrodynamic force components, other local components.
