Cancer remains a major global health challenge, and despite available treatments, its prognosis poor. Recently, researchers have turned their attention to intelligent nanofibers for cancer drug delivery. These exhibit remarkable capabilities in targeted controlled release. Their inherent characteristics, such as high surface area-to-volume ratio, make them attractive candidates delivery applications. Smart can release drugs response specific stimuli, including pH, temperature, magnetic fields, light. This unique feature not only reduces side effects but also enhances the overall efficiency of systems. Electrospinning, widely used method, allows precision fabrication smart nanofibers. Its advantages include efficiency, user-friendliness, ability control various manufacturing parameters. In this review, we explore latest developments producing electrospun treatment. Additionally, discuss materials these critical parameters involved electrospinning process.

Electrospinning technology has demonstrated extensive applications in biomedical engineering, energy storage, and environmental remediation. However, its utilization the cosmetic industry remains relatively underexplored. To address challenges associated with skin damage caused by preservatives thickeners used for extending shelf life of conventional products, a soothing lavender-scented electrospun fibrous eye mask coaxial layers was developed using electrospinning technique. Polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) served as hydrophilic outer sheath, while polycaprolactone (PCL) constituted hydrophobic core, lavender oil (LO) encapsulated within. The structural physicochemical properties samples were characterized scanning electron microscope (SEM), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), contact angle measurements. Upon hydration, membrane exhibited strong adhesion properties, notable antioxidant activity, degree antibacterial efficacy, demonstrating potential safe effective use skincare applications. These findings suggest that material offers promising functional integration into formulations.
