The growing popularity of outdoor sports in natural landscapes is reshaping sport tourism, particularly rural and mountainous areas, offering opportunities for sustainable development but also presenting risks to the environmental cultural heritage. This study focuses on Oliena, a village Sardinia (Italy) that undergoing depopulation economic decline, leveraging participatory approaches through Nature Sports strengthen community identity bond with its landscape. Since 2016, team researchers have conducted design workshops field activities, including creative installations, multidimensional narrative urban landscape heritage leveraged by Oliena's unique resources.
