The current work aims to theoretically investigate the surface–interface effects on circumferential antiplane surface wave through a thin piezoelectric (PE) layer cylindrical structure. elasticity has been formulated in coordinate system for PE material. Along with parameters such as and density, charges are also considered. material properties considered heterogeneous make model realistic. dispersion equation shear obtained analytically closed form electrically short open cases using Bessel's function. of essential behavior parameters, coupling parameter radii ratio, heterogeneity parameter, prestress, have illustrated numerical simulation graphs. Each graph displayed lowest two modes facilitate thorough interpretation dispersion. Three-dimensional plots provided interpret field variables. It found that size-dependent sensitive relation only when is thin. study findings could help develop nano/microsized transducers sensors.

This study highlights the essential role of surface-interface characteristics and nonlocal elasticity in nondestructive detection for piezoelectric-piezomagnetic nanostructures. It investigates Lamb wave propagation layered structures under elasticity, using magnetoelectroelastic (MEE) theory with intrinsic length scales. The Gurtin–Murdoch model generalized Young–Laplace equations incorporate surface effects bilayer boundaries, yielding an analytical dispersion equation EOMS conditions. Numerical results reveal influence surface/interface nonlocal, thickness parameters on dispersion. By incorporating effects, this enhances sensitivity waves, providing a deeper understanding systems.

In this work, an analysis of the propagation horizontally polarized magnetoelastic shear waves at a loosely bonded interface between two fiber-reinforced (FRC) media is performed. The assumption that upper layer heterogeneous FRC medium with initial stress, while lower half-space subject to gravity. A closed-form expression dispersion equation has been derived using Whittaker's function and its asymptotic expansion for both exponential linear types cases. obtained matches well previously existing results classical Love wave equation. cases, it was found coupling parameters, horizontal compressive stresses, bound, Biot's gravity parameter layered structure all have favoring effect on phase velocity. It also observed in case, detrimental influence speed propagation, situation, beneficial impact. findings study can be used improve fields geotechnical engineering civil engineering.
