Recently, have made significant advancements, transitioning from rudimentary forms wearable devices smart everyday clothing that can conform soft, curved, deformable surfaces or surroundings. In this review, latest scientific technological breakthroughs with insightful analysis materials, physics, design principles, fabrication strategies, functions, applications flexible sensing technology comprehensively explored. The new generation recognize voice, interact machines, control robots, enable marine positioning localization, monitor structural health, human vital signs deep tissues, perform organ imaging is highlighted. These innovations offer unique solutions challenges fields such as healthcare, biomedicine, wearables, robotics, metaverse. Finally, existing future opportunities field addressed, providing strategies advance technologies for intriguing real-world inspire research directions.
