Strip clearcutting and replanting are important methods for optimizing the structure of low-efficiency plantations, but their effects on soil aggregate properties remain unclear, especially in subtropical China, which experiences high levels rainfall erosion risk. This study investigated changes composition stability through strip treatments Cunninghamia lanceolata plantations. The experimental included strips with widths 10 m, 20 30 m evergreen broadleaf Schima superba (SM10, SM20, SM30) deciduous Liquidambar formosana (SF10, SF20, SF30), respectively. reserve belts were set at 15 (S15), (S30), 45 (S45), no as control (NT). results indicated that soils treatment plots dominated by >5 mm aggregates (57%–77%), however, lower than (NT) due to replanting, except SF20 S15 belts. width (SF20) demonstrated optimal structural stability, significantly erodibility K values control. content was positively correlated mean weight diameter (MWD) geometric (GMD) negatively factor (K). In contrast, contents other particle sizes MWD GMD demonstrates optimally maintains reduces risk, providing critical evidence configuration species selection ecological restoration
