Purpose The theoretical landscape surrounding the contribution of digital transformation to sustainability in higher education institutions is lacking literature. Blended learning has gained popularity and poises for further growth as a sustainable inclusive mode that will shape future education. This study aims investigate organizational critical success factors ensure high-quality blended opportunities. Design/methodology/approach Data was collected through an online student survey semistructured interviews with academic leaders faculty members. Findings Exploratory factor analysis multiple linear regression revealed five main contributing successful overall hybrid experience, namely, support, cognitive flexibility, learner self-actualization, engagement sense belonging. In results, students were satisfied their skills, knowledge engagement, have succeeded developing self-actualization Faculty support strongest determinant. presence certain dynamics, comprising management those mindset, effective communication, leadership qualities adequate personality traits, presents major predictor quality Originality/value literature, which emphasizes novel aspects this study. particular, it contributes by determining level research on subject, stances area potential avenues investigation.

Purpose The COVID-19 pandemic has compelled higher education institutions (HEI) in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and globally to shift a new pedagogy that is sustainable resilient crises disruptions. It necessitated integration of technologies as part pedagogical innovation modification practices – advancing toward more holistic physical digital tools methods enable flexible, creative, collaborative participatory learning.
