Abstract Purpose To evaluate the shear bond strength (SBS) of stereolithography (SLA), digital light processing (DLP) manufactured, and computer numerical control (CNC) milled zirconia to veneering ceramic. Materials Methods Rectangular shaped substrates (10 × 5 mm 3 ) were manufactured through SLA, DLP, CNC technology separately. Their surface roughness was measured topography analyzed by atomic force microscope (AFM). Then ceramic (5 applied carry out SBS test. Failure modes examined a scanning electron (SEM). The data statistically with one‐way ANOVA followed S‐N‐K post hoc comparisons ( = 0.05). Results SLA group (0.38 ± 0.03 µm) DLP (0.37 0.04 both significantly higher than (0.16 0.00 p < 0.001). AFM results revealed irregular zirconia. No significant difference found in value three groups 0.253). SEM image showed different failure including cohesive, adhesive, mixed failure. Conclusion bonding ability comparable that
