Traditional remedies using natural ingredients have been handed down over generations, providing collective information for the development of modern therapeutics. These products a long history safe consumption with curative effects but lack scientific-based evidence hinders mass production new containing active particular medicinal properties. This research investigated phenolic profiles and biochemical properties 29 herbal identified in two traditional Thai remedies, Prasachandaeng (PSCD) Chantaharuethai (CHRT), their effectiveness combating chronic diseases. are used to reduce fever some previously reported possess other health-related Statistical analysis by TOPSIS indicated that Biancaea sappan (L.) Tod. extract exhibited highest overall closeness coefficient (C) score analyzed from all variables including total contents, antioxidant potentials, enzyme inhibitions. Bouea macrophylla Griff. showed potential as an effective agent against diabetes through inhibition carbohydrate degrading enzymes, α-glucosidase α-amylase, while Dischidia major (Vahl) Merr. strong anti-angiotensin-converting enzyme, leading control hypertension. Dracaena cochinchinensis (Lour.) S.C. Chen effectively controlled progression Alzheimer's disease cholinergic β-amyloid formation enzymes. results can be preliminary data prevent or treat

Abstract The combinational application of herbal extract with chemical synthetic medicines is a very common therapeutic scheme for various disease. People have explored lots combinations natural medicine and to increase efficacy reduce side effects in long lasting clinical medication. Our work found that the Macrothelypteris torresiana could interfere inhibition AKT phosphorylation induced by wortmannin concentration dependent manner, interaction mechanisms were elucidated concentration-effect analysis pharmacological evaluation. study mainly attributed competitive between two flavonoids wortmannin, which competitively bind P110 subunit PI3K complex. also that, due hyperphosphorylation breast tumor cells, benefits based on are correlated administration schemes. 10 µg/mL EM 0.5 µM classic inhibitor AKT, down-regulate level meanwhile protecting normal cells. finding supports idea effect reduction low medicine.
