Abstract The vibrational behavior of a three‐layered annular plate is considered in the present study. composed functionally graded (FG) porous core which saturated by fluid and two piezoelectric patches that are bonded to subjected electric field. whole structure also rested on visco‐Pasternak elastic foundation. material properties FG vary through thickness direction based different patterns called porosity distributions. Love‐Kirchhoff's hypothesis Hamilton's principle employed extract governing motion equations boundary conditions following it, they solved generalized differential quadrature method (GDQM) for various conditions. After ensuring validity results comparing them with known data literature, effect most important parameters considered. It seen coefficient natural frequencies completely dependent pores’ distribution patterns. Also, increasing externally applied voltage facesheets, leads enhance. outcomes this work can help design create smart structures systems such as sensors actuators.

Abstract In this article, the dynamic characteristics of Co‐curing Damping Sandwich Composites with Different Lay‐up Angles (CDSCDLA) are studied by means modal analysis and numerical simulation to optimize structure co‐curing composites. The vibration equilibrium equation CDSCDLA is derived according first order shear deformation theory Hamilton equation. model established finite element verify accuracy theoretical calculation. influence different lay‐up angle damping film thickness on free explored under condition constant skin thickness. derivation results reveals that overall characteristic sandwich composite a 45° optimal when constant. particular, 0.1 mm, first‐order mode frequency plate reach maximum value 0.1495 747.9 Hz, respectively. loss factor layup angles 0.3 mm. However, blindly increasing layer can not always improve performance structure, but will greatly reduce stiffness composite. work provides reference for optimization structural design high strength large factor. Highlights Free composites investigated. analytical established. validity verified simulation.

The exceptional mechanical properties, dimensional stability and low cost of production textile composites have made them quite popular in recent years. In the present analysis, plain woven inter, intra hybrid carbon E-glass fibre reinforced incorporated with or without nano-coconut shell ash (CSA) as filler were manufactured by hand lay-up method. thermal properties determined for composites. Simultaneously, fractographic study was conducted scanning electron microscopy to predict different kind failures found be significantly better when 2 wt.% CSA substituted it. inter-hybrid composite containing nanofiller demonstrated highest tensile strength 245.96 MPa, flexural 496.03 MPa maximum degradation temperature weight change 81.08%. A combination intra- revealed impact resistance 3.3 J. pseudo-ductile performance intra-hybrid is also distinctly observed, showing moderate stress 299.376 elongation 5.137 mm. current scientific effort makes it clear that greatest obtained positioning fibres inside glass outside. surface proximity diffusion nanofillers further enhanced their properties. Shear dispersion led energy absorption need case inter-woven
