Designing polymers with high intrinsic thermal conductivity (TC) is critically important for the management of organic electronics and photonics. However, this a challenging task owing to diversity chemical space barriers advanced synthetic experiments/characterization techniques polymers. In Tutorial, fundamentals implementation combining classical molecular dynamics simulation machine learning (ML) development TC are comprehensively introduced. We begin by describing core components universal ML framework, involving polymer data sets, property calculators, feature engineering, informatics algorithms. Then, process constructing interpretable regression algorithms prediction introduced, aiming extract underlying relationships between microstructures TCs also explore design sequence-ordered using lightweight mainstream active Lastly, we conclude addressing current limitations suggesting potential avenues future research on topic.
