Salt stress is the most devastating abiotic that drastically limits productivity and quality of crops. This study assessed impact NaCl concentrations (100, 200, 400 mM) on betel vine's antioxidant activities secondary metabolites (Piper betle L.). Results suggest activity antioxidative enzymes was enhanced at 100 200 mM levels but reduced NaCl. Further, GC-MS analysis revealed increased production such as alkane, ester, fatty acid, phenolic, terpene compounds during salt stress. These findings would be helpful for further investigations could lead to in vine industrial medicinal benefits.
