Waste management has been considered an antecedent of delivering environmental sustainability. However, the present conventional waste approaches have several difficulties in addressing significance effectively managing solid to avoid health and problems. Therefore, research aims identify intelligent tackle issue waste. The study conducts a systematic literature review through bibliometric content analysis 226 relevant articles using Scopus database. findings from descriptive highlight year-by-year publication trend, significant sources, affiliation statistics various institutions, corresponding author’s nation. Furthermore, offers three clusters based on artificial intelligence, machine learning techniques, Internet Things. Also, findings, article provides framework offer thorough understanding use different This impact given summarises highlights how are what will be possible outcome doing so.

The environmental impacts of mining activities in Southeast Nigeria pose significant challenges and threats to the local ecosystems communities. Research reveals that impact these had hitherto been poorly monitored or assessed due inefficient manual approach used. Now, there are currently gaps literature on potential advanced technologies for sustainable management vis-à-vis practices Nigeria. This research therefore seeks bridge this gap has adopted a review method synthesize existing knowledge determine prospects integration geospatial machine learning monitoring managing support improved decision-making. adhered PRISMA guidelines, which involved an initial evaluation 550 articles eventually resulted 64 relevant materials used study. findings indicate led severe land degradation, deforestation, water contamination, adversely affecting biodiversity livelihoods. study also revealed hold great monitoring, assessment, as whole call urgent policy considerations from stakeholders governments.

Oil pollution in water bodies is a substantial environmental concern that poses severe risks to human health, aquatic ecosystems, and economic activities. Rising energy consumption industrial activity have resulted more oil spills, damaging long-term ecology. The aim of the review discuss problems, effects, methods monitoring sensing water. can destroy habitat. Once gets into habitats, it changes both physically chemically, depending on temperature, wind, wave currents. If not promptly addressed, these processes repercussions spread, persistence, toxicity oil. Effective early identification are vital limit harm permit timely reaction cleanup Three main categories define three methodologies spill detection. Remote utilizes satellite imaging airborne surveillance monitor large-scale spills trace their migration across bodies. Accurate real-time detection made possible by optical sensing, which uses fluorescence infrared identify measure contamination based its particular characteristics. Using sensor networks Internet Things (IoT) technologies, wireless improves response capacity continuous automated settings. In addition, effectiveness advanced artificial intelligence (AI) techniques, such as deep learning (DL) machine (ML), enhancing accuracy, predicting leak patterns, optimizing strategies, investigated. This assesses advantages limits technologies offers future research directions advance monitoring. results help create sustainable efficient plans for controlling safeguarding habitats.
