This study aims to show that interactive learning techniques can increase historical awareness amongst students. Using the experience of searching for and categorising fossils in local river bed by SMPN Tambaksari (hereafter referred as Junior High School) students between 1980 1996. The method select evaluate both oral written sources. sources include interviews with participants fossil digs. Written included news magazine articles published during time results teaching was considered a meaningful positive Additionally, it found expanded their gaining an appreciation connection history present future. Finally, there personal development students, who learned about themselves relationship culture nation.
