During all periods of male ontogenesis, physiological processes responsible for the correct functioning reproductive organs and spermatogenesis are under influence various factors (neuro-humoral, genetic, paratypical). Recently, attention researchers has increasingly turned to study epigenetic factors. In scientific publications, one can find references direct role microRNAs, small non-coding RNAs involved in post-transcriptional regulation gene expression, development organs. Although microRNAs reproduction mammals, including humans, been intensively studied, this area knowledge birds remains under-researched limited single experiments. This is likely due unique features embryogenesis structure avian system. review summarizes current state on reproduction. Insight into molecular basis Gallus gallus domesticus provided. Data functions mechanisms by which growth, development, formation rooster germ cells that determine necessary morphofunctional qualitative characteristics mature spermatozoa summarized. Particular paid miRNA biogenesis as an important step affecting success spermatogenesis, well miRNAs sex differentiation during early embryogenesis. The modern literature sources systematized review, revealing questions about function birds, create a theoretical define new perspectives directions further research field.
