Children are valuable assets for the nations. Global organizations like UNICEF and OECD highlight importance of high-quality ECCE, aligning with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 2030. In Malaysia, governance ECCE is separated into different agencies. This qualitative study applied in-depth interviews key informants from four leading agencies involved in governance. The findings show that legislative framework, historical aspects, differences roles functions influence separation Malaysia. Thus, clear standard needed to enhance monitoring assessment delivery services.

Introduction In partnership with an urban school district Head Start program, we created a set of intervention supports that built upon the strengths program services already in place. Methods We conducted randomized control trial to test use natural helpers (teachers, special education coaches, and curriculum specialists) participating practice-based coaching monthly communities practice, augment districtwide universal social-emotional The Pyramid Model for Promoting Social Emotional Competence Infants Young Children. Participants included 53 preschool teachers 519 children, across 26 classrooms, 9 schools high poverty area district. Teachers were waitlist or condition. We randomly offered a childcare subsidy, an equivalent cash grant, or both to mothers of three-to-five-year-old children. The subsidy substantially increased the labor supply and earnings single mothers, highlighting importance time constraints for them. Among couples, did not affect mothers’ market outcomes but instead fathers’ salaried employment. At household level, led higher income consumption improved child development.
