Abstract Introduction During normal pregnancy, changes in the gut microbiota (GM) response to physiological alterations hormonal secretion, immune functions and homeostasis have received extensive attention. However, dynamic GM during three consecutive trimesters of pregnancy their relationship with glucose lipid metabolism not been reported. In this study, we aimed investigate diversity species women who naturally conceived, relationships abnormal fasting blood (FBG) serum levels. Methods A total 30 pregnant without any known chronic or autoimmune inflammatory disease history before were enrolled first trimester. Serum stool samples collected trimester, second third tested for FBG levels, specimens analyzed by 16S rDNA sequencing. Results The abundance ratio bacteroidetes/firmicutes showed an increasing tendency most subjects (19/30, 63.3%) from LEfSe analysis that Bilophila was significantly increased addition, at genus level, relative Mitsuokella , Clostridium sensu stricto Weissella potentially involved development high pregnancy. raised Corynebacterium Rothia Granulicatella contributed occurrence dyslipidemia Conclusions There are trimesters, some bacterium may contribute Monitoring enterotypes correcting dysbiosis trimester become new strategies predicting preventing glucolipid disorders

Perinatal depression is a mood disorder that reported in women during pregnancy (prenatal) and after childbirth (postnatal). The onset of perinatal associated with changes reproductive hormones, stress hormones neurosteroids. These chemical compounds can be modulated by the gut microbiota, which may affect maternal mental health period via gut-brain-axis. Recent studies suggest nutritional dietary interventions (vitamin D, ω-3 fatty acids, iron, fiber) effectively prevent or mitigate anxiety, but their efficacy confounded various factors, including microbiota. Probiotics are efficacious maintaining microbiota homeostasis, thus, have potential to modulate development disorders, despite no evidence human. Therefore, clinical trials warranted investigate role probiotic supplementation behavioral changes. This article reviews interplay between nutrition, cognition, suggesting probiotics depression.

Abstract Purpose of Review Existing dietary and lifestyle interventions recommendations, to improve the risk factors obesity type 2 diabetes with target mitigate this double global epidemic, have produced inconsistent results due interpersonal variabilities in response these conventional approaches, inaccuracies assessment methods. Precision nutrition, an emerging strategy, tailors individual’s key characteristics such as diet, phenotype, genotype, metabolic biomarkers, gut microbiome for personalized recommendations optimize health. nutrition is suggested be alternative potentially more effective strategy intake prevention chronic diseases. The purpose narrative review synthesize current research examine state science regarding effect precision improving diabetes. Recent Findings indicate a large extent significant evidence supporting effectiveness Deeper insights further rigorous into diet-phenotype-genotype interactions other components may enable innovative approach adapted health care public special needs individuals. Summary provides make individualized by integrating genetic, phenotypic, nutritional, lifestyle, medical, social, pertinent about individuals, means address challenges generalized recommendations. presented shows that markedly improves diabetes, particularly behavior change.

Abstract The high cost of feed and nitrogen pollution caused by high-protein diets have become major challenges restricting sustainable development in China's animal husbandry sector. Properly reducing protein levels improving utilization are effective approaches to solving this problem. To determine the optimal dose methionine hydroxyl analogue chelated zinc (MHA-Zn) broiler with a 1.5% reduction crude (CP), total 216 1-day-old broilers were randomly assigned into 4 groups (each group consisted 3 replications 18 per replicate), growth indexes assessed after 42 days. control fed basic diet, whereas those three test CP. results showed no significant difference edible parts between low-protein (LP) diet (90 mg/kg MHA-Zn) normal ( p > 0.05), adding 90 MHA-Zn LP significantly improved ileum morphology apparent tract digestibility (ATTD) nutrient < 0.01; 0.05). A 16S rRNA sequencing analysis indicated that supplementing was adequate for production performance promoted beneficial bacteria cecum Lactobacillus , Butyricoccus Oscillospira etc.) 0.01). In summary, an organic low led enhanced optimized microbiota. Additionally, consumption proved be cost-effective measure, while also mitigated pollutant emissions environment.
