This research examined the Dark Triad Personality factors, namely Machiavellianism, narcissism, and psychopathy in online realm specifically focusing on university students’ participation Facebook Instagram. The sample consisted of three hundred fifty undergraduate students, with ethical considerations ensuring confidentiality anonymity participants emphasizing voluntary nature participation. In this study, methods employed are correlational cross-sectional, to understand association between dark triad use social networking sites among students aged 18 25 years old. Study subjects were purposively selected using purposive sampling technique. Participants filled out surveys that included Narcissism, Psychopathy related items Instagram usage involvement. present study reported traits (Machiavellianism, Narcissism Psychopathy) have a considerable contribution site (SNS) activities adverse activities. Demographic factors also analyzed as important variables Instagram, well level users. evidence shows intensity traits, triads personality, is directly degree engaging manipulative self-promoting online. discrepancies SNS engagement relation gender.
