Solid-phase microextraction (SPME) has been widely proposed for the extraction, clean-up, and preconcentration of analytes environmental concern. Enrichment capabilities, efficiency, sample throughput, selectivity in extracting target compounds greatly depend on materials used as SPME coatings.
