Abstract Functional polymeric nanoparticles, especially those with anisotropic structures, have shown significant potential and advantages in biomedical applications including detecting, bioimaging, antimicrobial anticancer. Herein, tetraphenylethylene (TPE) azobenzene modified polypeptides of poly(( L ‐glutamic acid) tetraphenylethylene‐ stat ‐( acid)) (P(GATPE 9 ‐ ‐GA 25 )) azobenzene‐ (P(GAAzo 5 29 ) are synthesized, which self‐assemble into bowl‐shaped nanoparticles (BNPs) controlled diameter, opening size fluorescent property individually, or by co‐assembly. Due to the quenching effect azobenzene, fluorescence coassembled BNPs is completely inhibited. Upon incubated under reduction environment, re‐excited owing break azo bonds. Benefiting from high‐level reductase hypoxic liver cancer cells comparing normal cells, quenched exhibit pronounced signal human hepatoma (HepG2) condition, demonstrating high efficiency reduction‐responsive luminescent for selective screening tumor cells. In addition, it also found that a proper promotes cellular uptake even up micron. Overall, this study provides fresh perspective preparation efficient cell screening.

ABSTRACT Compared to fluorescence imaging, chemiluminescence imaging does not need external excitation light, and hence presents high depth signal‐to‐noise ratio without autofluorescence phototoxicity, making it a promising tool for biological detection analysis. However, the target‐specific activatable near‐infrared emission chemiluminescent probes still be developed precise diagnosis of diseases. In this paper, we synthesized four direct Schaap's chemiluminophores (AINCL, AIFCL, ABTCL, APYCL) by incorporating different electronic acceptors, respectively, studied effect acceptors on optical properties chemiluminophores. To achieve specific hydrogen sulfide (H 2 S)‐related diseases, used H S‐cleavable 2,4‐dinitrophenylsulfonate cage phenol groups in It was demonstrated that endogenous S inflammations tumors could activate effectively with specificity, which provided location nidus allowed us perform surgical resection.
