Second near-infrared (NIR-II) fluorescence imaging is the most advanced fidelity method with extraordinary penetration depth, signal-to-background ratio, biocompatibility, and targeting ability. It currently booming in medical realm to diagnose tumors being widely applied for fluorescence-imaging-guided tumor surgery. To efficiently execute this modern modality, scientists have designed various probes capable of showing NIR-II window. Here, we update state-of-the-art fluorescent recent literature, including indocyanine green, emissive cyanine dyes, BODIPY probes, aggregation-induced emission fluorophores, conjugated polymers, donor-acceptor-donor carbon nanotubes, quantum dots imaging-guided Furthermore, point out that new materials NIR-III higher wavelength range further optimize results are a challenge scientific world. In general, hope review will serve as handbook researchers students who an interest developing applying surgery it expedite clinical translation from bench bedside.

Abstract Intensively studied polymeric particle production technologies often rely on the combination of polymer self‐assembly and processing techniques. Herein, an elegant crystallization transition‐mediated strategy is proposed to confine molecular within a limited range, avoiding need for extra steps. This approach enables regenerated nanofibrous chitin clusters woven with helical nanofibers. By dissolving β ‐chitin in aqueous NaOH solution adjusting degree deacetylation (DD value) 28.0–41.4%, chains pathway facilitated undergo crystalline transition from α hydrated chitosan. diminishes tendency confines submicro‐ micrometer scales. The morphological parameters these clusters, including cluster size, nanofiber tentacle density, diameter, pitch, can be tuned by DD value. These are successfully employed as building blocks create 3D structural materials thermal insulation functional food applications, demonstrating their potential constructing advanced materials. Abstract Trastuzumab (TZM) is a monoclonal antibody that targets the human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER2) and clinically used for treatment of HER2‐positive breast tumors. However, tumor microenvironment can limit access TZM to HER2 across whole thereby compromising TZM's therapeutic efficacy. An imaging methodology non‐invasively quantify binding TZM‐HER2, which required action, distribution within tumors with varying microenvironments much needed. Near‐infrared (NIR) fluorescence lifetime (FLI) Forster Resonance Energy Transfer (FRET) performed measure TZM‐HER2 binding, using in vitro microscopy vivo widefield macroscopy, overexpressing ovarian cancer cells xenografts, respectively. Immunohistochemistry validate results. NIR FLI FRET data show variations intracellular bound AU565 tumor‐passaged XTM cell lines comparison SKOV‐3 cells. Macroscopy (MFLI) display reduced compared tumors, as validated by ex immunohistochemistry. Moreover, AU565/XTM xenografts different amounts distributions TME components, such collagen vascularity. Therefore, these results suggest are refractory delivery due their disrupted vasculature increased content. The study demonstrates powerful analytical tool monitor antibodydrugs both cultures live systems.
