Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) is a chronic, progressive neurodegenerative disease that mainly causes damage to upper and lower motor neurons. This leads deterioration in the voluntary mobility of extremities ALS patients, which underscores pressing need for an assistance system facilitate communication body movement without relying on neuromuscular function. In this paper, we developed daily patients based wearable multimodal brain-computer interface (BCI) mouse. The comprises two subsystems: mouse assisting extremity wheelchair extremity. By wearing BCI headband, can control computer cursor screen with slight head rotation eye blinking, further operate drive specially designed graphical user interfaces (GUIs). We operating tasks simulate needs invited perform tasks. total, 15 limitations performed task 9 issues task. To our satisfaction, all participants fully accomplished average accuracies 83.9% 87.0% were achieved. Furthermore, workload evaluation using NASA Task Load Index (NASA-TLX) revealed experienced low when system. experimental results demonstrate proposed provides effective shows promising long-term application prospects.

ABSTRACT Optimization scheduling plays a pivotal role in construction projects, significantly influencing both the overall project schedule and its efficiency. This study focuses on optimizing of electric highway engineering projects within roadbed construction. The research considers multiple earthmoving processes optimizes working time each piece equipment, taking into account capacity speed limited week. is further contextualized by use regional time‐of‐use (TOU) electricity pricing. A sophisticated optimization model developed to simulate optimal machinery operation, striking balance between energy consumption work paper introduces an innovative algorithm, improved crested porcupine optimizer (ICPO), which incorporates Latin hypercube sampling for population initialization. To enhance algorithmic effectiveness, combined strategy parallel compact processing employed. approach reduces number iterations required consequently lowers consumption. Rigorous analysis comparison with existing algorithms demonstrate that ICPO iteration count financial expenditure. Simulation results validate accuracy practicality proposed showing reduction over 7%

Abstract This study explores energy allocation strategies for hybrid electric-hydrogen fuel cell transport trucks. The focus is optimizing the synergy between hydrogen cells and batteries to balance economic viability environmental sustainability. An improved RIME (IRIME) algorithm enhances earthmoving node efficiency. Addressing limitations of traditional multi-objective optimization dynamic constraints, a framework combining programming (DP) IRIME proposed. DP optimizes multi-stage decisions, while efficiently identifies Pareto optimal solutions. Simulations validate approach under various scenarios, comparing it other techniques. Case studies demonstrate 9% improvement in efficiency reduced cycle time compared algorithms.

The purpose of the paper is to develop stochastic models for managing risk fatigue in an organisation, taking into account intensity negative impact factors on workers at workplace and their recovery from such impact. It uses method analysis scientific literature actualise define research tasks; Markov process theory methods are used mathematical description random processes worker development it during a work shift; probability queuing find limiting distribution process’ states. The proposed allow organisation carry out emergence by changing work-rest schedule’s duration, depending parameters’ characteristics corpora impact. By specified characteristics, possible determine schedule which period worker’s will be as long rest state minimal. The application makes increase level labour productivity determining durations schedules, provide opportunity activities maximum time shift, without reaching fatigued state. For first time, approach establishing dependencies between duration impact, based theory.
