The procurement of medical equipment is a critical concern for healthcare organizations striving to deliver comprehensive patient care. Thus, the process, including performance evaluation and selection suppliers, poses significant challenge organizations. decision-making process also involves multiple decision-makers making subjective judgments about various quantitative qualitative criteria several alternative suppliers. This paper presents framework supplier under uncertain assessment information by integrating rank order centroid (ROC) fuzzy analytic hierarchy (fuzzy AHP) techniques. first stage identifying key influencing suppliers ROC technique used assign weights important criteria, reducing uncertainty weight assignment judgment decision-makers. AHP method then applied evaluate potential based on their overall performance. approach validated through case study in hospital setting, demonstrating practical applicability proposed real-world scenario. Results indicate that hybrid effectively supports group uncertainty, providing with systematic logical selecting most suitable supplier. enhances efficiency better resource allocation healthcare.

Purpose The global construction industry has a history of poor project success, with evident and frequent overruns in cost schedule. This is highly interconnected complex system which the components, i.e. suppliers, contractors, end-users, stakeholders, are delicately linked to each other, community, environment. Therefore, defining measuring success can be challenging for sponsors, public. To address this issue, study develops analyzes more comprehensive set criteria medium large projects. Design/methodology/approach After reviewing existing literature, identified 19 projects, were categorized into five groups. fuzzy decision-making trial evaluation laboratory (fuzzy DEMATEL) method was used gain further insight interrelationships between these categories explain cause-and-effect relationships among them. Next, applied modified logarithmic least squares determine importance weight using analytic hierarchy process. Findings 28 managers working industries Australia New Zealand participated study. Results suggest that “project efficiency” “impacts on team” cause affect “business success,” stakeholders,” end-users.” Effective risk management emerged as most crucial criterion efficiency, while customer satisfaction return investment top end-users” success.” Originality/value Although numerous studies have been conducted criteria, multicriteria analyses rare. paper presents tailored aim analyze their prioritize them thoroughly, will aid practitioners focusing important achieving higher rates.

The product design process, fraught with uncertainties and ambiguities in its requirements constraints, commonly traverses multiple stages, each emphasizing distinct aspects. This engenders heterogeneity decision-making criteria, rendering the effective integration of information from various stages (PDDM) a pivotal task identifying optimal solution. Surprisingly, limited research has attended to challenge consolidating such heterogeneous across PDDM stages. To bridge this gap, our study employs real numbers, interval linguistic terms capture judgments decision-makers. We fuse Maximization Deviation Method analytic hierarchy process (AHP) for determining indicators’ weights, while decision-makers’ weights are derived through dual consideration uncertainty measure using fuzzy entropy distance-minimization model applied matrix achieving consistency. Leveraging advantage axiomatic design, alternatives evaluated based on their content matrices. Given multistage nature stages’ computed by assessing consistency degree matrices at stage. Ultimately, approach achieves fusion axiom weighting. A case involving specific numerical control machine illustrates efficacy method integrating data, yielding comprehensive perspective viability schemes. Results show that ranking sequence schemes solidifies x3 > x2 x1 2 3 PDDM, diverging initial order observed stage 1 (x2 x1), fused result analysis aligns later rankings, indicating credibility persuasiveness fortified. methodology thus offers robust framework synthesizing navigating complexities inherent contexts.
